This book contains gourmet recipes with lowered fat, sodium, and cholesterol. Nutritional data is given for each recipe. HM2 recommends cooking vegetables less than some of the recipes suggest.

This book is one in a series of vegetarian-oriented, health-minded recipe books. Teaches use of bulgur, palenta, brown rice and other healthy alternatives. Nutritional data is given for each recipe. Excellent glossary.
 

Title: Eat Well Live Well

Author: Pamela M. Smith

Publisher: Creation House, Florida, 1992.

ISBN: 0-88419-306-3

Useful resource with excellent sections on sauces and dressings. Includes grocery list. Nutritional data is provided in terms of blocks, rather than specific weights. HM2 recommends using low-fat and fat-free alternatives where possible.
